East Africa - Landscapes

Towards the end of 2023 we made a truly wonderful trip to East Africa - with a week on safari in both Kenya and Tanzania (see map) and then a few days in Zanzibar. This trip had been postponed from 2020, so hopes were high - but well and truly exceeded when we got there! We had so many exceptional wildlife encounters and I took so many photos, that I have struggled with how to arrange a few of them into albums. Accordingly, I have gone with Birds, Landscapes (this one), Mara River Crossing, People, Predators and Prey. Of course we had gone there to see and photograph the animals, but it was also great to pull back a bit and capture the magnificent vistas and famed big African skies - often still with animals in the frame! Hakuna Matata!
