Oman - An Overview From The Early 1990's

The Pearl of Arabia! We lived in Oman for five years in the early 1990's, and have many happy memories of this beautiful country and its friendly people - not least that our son was born there! Even with a small child, we travelled the length and breadth of the country (see map), from isolated Musandam in the North, to the seasonally green hills of Salalah in the far South, through the wadis of the vast coastal mountain range and the expansive Wahiba Sands and gravel plains of the central region. Heads up - the photographs aren't great! The film was developed in poor quality, high street batch processing machines and I've then had to scan the negatives.
